We are specialists in supplying engraved ceremonial spades, whether for a tree planting, a turf cutting ceremony, or perhaps a gift for a gardener on a special birthday or retirement .
We use a really nice quality polished stainless steel spade, with a light wood 'Y' shaped handle.
The engraveable area of the spade measures approximately 100mm wide x 180mm high, so there's plenty of space for text & logos as required.
We are now able to laser engrave the blade of the spades, so the engraving shows up black against the stainless steel blade. we feel that this is a really great step forwards for our engraving process, and gives a superior finished result compared to the more traditional engraving techniques.
We can also engrave along the wooden handle of the spade if required. Due to the space available, this can only be done as a single line of text of up to 50 characters.

The nature of our ceremonial spades means that they are all bespoke items.
For this reason, rather than limit your options, we leave it to you to tell us which font you would like us to use for the engraving, and give you free reign to tell us how you would like the engraving to be arranged.
We've given you the option to add up to 3 logos, if you would like more than this, that's fine, please mention this in the details box & we'll email you to follow this up & get the additional artwork & payment from you.
We will always come back to you with a proof of the engraving before we start, to ensure that you are happy with the layout.
We ask for a date by which you need the spade. Ideally, this needs to be a minimum of 7 working days away, in order for us to go through the proofing process, get everything done for you, and then allow time for delivery.
If you have less than 7 days, we will always do everything we can to accommodate this, but please bear in mind that the time it takes the courier to deliver can be as much of an issue as how long we need to do the engraving!
